He is survived by: his wife Karen Faye Jinks (Ellender); his children, Jared Jinks (Mandy) of Ragley, Dustin Jinks (Beth) of Newnan, GA, Kasey Jinks (Erin) of Moss Bluff, Cody Ellender of Duncan, OK and Cayde Matthew Ellender (Linsey) of Brownsboro, TX; his grandchildren, Marissa Miller (Alex), Hunter Jinks, Stacia Jinks, Issabella Jinks, Halley Jinks, Kyrsten Colson, Allana Jinks, Alyssa Jinks, Michael Jinks, Matthew Ellender, Brady Ellender, Charlotte Ellender and Lillian Ellender; his great grandchildren, Tucker, Cooper and Weston Miller; and his brothers, Norman Jinks (Virgina) of Hackberry and Leonard Jinks (Glenda) of Hackberry.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff (276 Old Hwy 171, Lake Charles, LA 70611). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (1210 Main St, Hackberry, LA 70645).
