He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Smith Romero; his daughter Robin Gale Romero; his parents, Eloi Romero and Rose Credeur Romero; and his brother Carroll Romero.
He is survived by: his children, Dustin Willard Romero (Allyson) of Mire, Darren Paul Romero (Katie) of Egan and Amanda Gale Clark (Tyler) of Maxie; his grandchildren, Haden, Holden, Allie, Nicholas, William, Mary, Olivia (OJ), Samual and Emmalin; and his siblings, Deanna Lunson of Egan and D. H. Romero of Gueydan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
