He was predeceased by: his parents, Lessin Hanks and Ida Lapoint Hanks; his children, Timothy Hanks and Ramona Hanks; and his brothers, Russell and Nolan Hanks.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Thibodeaux Hanks; his daughter Karen Jordan (Nicky) of Crowley; his sisters, Velma Stutes of Midland, Margie Hanks of Midland, Shirley Dupuis of Crowley, Marie Broussard of Crowley and Dianne Duhon of Crowley; his grandchildren, Lance Hanks (Britany), Nicholas Jordan (Ana), Ryan Jordan (Amber) and Megan Jordan; and his great grandchildren, Carley Shea, Wyatt Hanks, Loralei Hanks, Analicia Jordan and Maddiana Jordan.
