He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Ladnier, and Lucy Dubuisson Ladnier, Sr.; and his siblings, Jean Waltman, Janet Benard and C. J. Ladnier.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria S. Ladnier of Morse; his children, Matthew Watkins of Rayne, Gina Sellier of Bay St, Tammy LeJeune (Daniel) of Rayne, Kasey Lee (Brian Fonenot) of Opelousas and Dexter Ladnier (Vicky) of Morse; his siblings, Brenda Cangiano, Lionell Ladnier, June Cuevas, Oneal Cuevas and Wayne Cuevas; his grandchildren, Lacey Sellier, Blake Thibodeaux (Lindsay), Kaleb Lee, Shiyou Fontenot, Chloe Stakes (Connor), Chloe Fusilier, Blanche Dietz (Tristan) and Ashley Ward; and his great grandchildren, Reed Thibodeaux, Brantley Bertrand, Abigail Dietz, Clay Dietz, Bentley Guidry, Eden Guidry and Lydia Guidry.
