It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Simon of Morse, Louisiana, born in Crowley, Louisiana, who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lee and Mary Ann Guidry LeBlanc; and her siblings, Debbie May and Harry "Chunky" LeBlanc, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Dexter; her children, Shawna Landry (Charles) of Jennings, Shannon Higginbotham (Chip) of Jennings, Shay Simon (Ryan "Worm" Crochet) of Hathaway and Mike Perrio, Jr. (Amber) of Jennings; her siblings, Diana Craigen of Texas, Kay Reed of Crowley, Chanti Deshotel of Crowley and Kirk LeBlanc of Texas; and her grandchildren, Ethan Richard, Alex Guidry, Cooper Perrio, Palie Guidry, Jaci Guidry, Sophia Landry, Greyson Perrio, Sydnee Simon and Jackson Perrio.
