He was predeceased by: his parents, AC Hauser and Elizabeth Hinesdale Hauser; his parents-in-law, Ervin Comeaux and Helen Morgan Comeaux; his son-in-law Eddie Olivier; and his siblings, Fred Hauser, Tom Hauser, Leonard Hauser, Lorraine Gary and Ruth Bass.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Comeaux Hauser; his daughters, Deborah Olivier of Stephensville and Kim Cape (Mike) of Houma; his grandchildren, Michael Aucoin (Bobbi Launey) of Morgan City, Heather Booty of Morgan City, Stephen Darce (Wena) of Raymond, MS, Brandon Darce (Heather) of Sitka and Laura Schmitt (Adam) of Houma; his great grandchildren, Jayme Winiger, Kaylee Richard (Taylor), Briana Toups (Dylan Fontenot), Abbie Schmitt, Madison Schmitt and Jamey Darce; his great great grandchildren, Bradlee and Archer Richard; his siblings, Jane Layne, Jean Custalow of Virginia, Arlene Monroe of Kentucky, Roy and Jimmy Hauser of Virginia; his nieces and nephews, Christine Comeaux, Jesse Comeaux Jr. and Colby Comeaux; and also Richard. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Twin City Funeral Home (412 Fourth St, Morgan City, LA 70380). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
