He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ruffin and Amanda Ruffin; his son Jarod Ruffin; and his siblings, Terry Ruffin and Charlene Ruffin.
He is survived by: his wife Luticia Ruffin of Morgan City, Louisiana; his children, Deon Ruffin (Felepia) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Amanda Ruffin of Los Angeles, California; his siblings, Don Ruffin of Lafayette, Marvin Ruffin of Oklahoma City, Daryl Ruffin of Morgan City, Louisiana and Pervy Ruffin of Lafayette, Louisiana; and his stepbrother Billy Reaux of Patterson, Louisiana. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
