He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Deshotel and Rosabell Veillon Deshotel; and his siblings, Jay Deshotel and Roxanne Douget. He is survived by: his wife Sundra Martin Deshotel; his children, Sonny Deshotel (Christy) and Sonia Prince (Stephen); his siblings-in-law, Janelle Deshotel and Louis Douget; his grandchildren, Jacob Prince (Brittany), Taylor Domangue (Kenneth), Alaina Tarver-Lecoq (William), Caylee Deshotel (Yancy LeGrande), Austin Deshotel and Garrett Deshotel; and his great grandchildren, Kensley, Kate Domangue and Justin Prince.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (600 Myrtle St, Morgan City, LA 70380). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
