She is survived by: her children, Fabio Ortiz, Eloy Mireles, Stefano Ortiz, Hector Plata, Celeste Ortiz and Shanel Plata; her siblings, Juan Ortiz, Martin Ortiz, Alvaro Ortiz, Refugia Sanchez and Lupe Ortiz; and her grandchildren, Paris Plata, Marceli Mireles, Theodore Bowman, Carolina Mireles and Luciana Vasquez.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Twin City Funeral Home Inc. (412 Fourth St, Morgan City, LA 70380). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
