We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, at the age of 84, Carolyn Sanford of Morgan City, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gaspar and Emmadell Belanger Gaspar; her husband Joe Gerald Sanford Sr.; her daughters, Jena and Juana Sanford; her grandson Joseph Thomas Tobias; and her siblings, Gaydel Simmons, Randle Gaspar and Arthur Gaspar.
She is survived by: her children, Jodi Sue Adams (Burt), Julie Metrejean (Nelson), Joe Gerald Sanford Jr. (Gina), John Frank Sanford and Jason Elliott Sanford; her grandchildren, Jessica Beadle (Gabe), Jordan Guidry (Jace), Colby Adams, Rachel Gollehon (Erin), Chelsea Lin (Jason), Kayla Folse (Jacob), Kristin Hickman (Richard), Carolyn Sanford, Mary Margaret Sanford, Josh Gerald Sanford, Frank Sanford, Abby Sanford and Alex Sanford; and her sister Frankie Regan. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Twin City Funeral Home (412 Fourth St, Morgan City, LA 70380). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
