He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Maize (Ruby) of Morgan City, Louisiana, Agnes Maize of Morgan City, Louisiana and Gale Brown (Cecil) of Morgan City, Louisiana; and his aunt Doretha Hickman of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
