She is survived by: her husband Mario Varnado; her children, Miranda Courteaux, Joni Courteaux, Destiny Varnado and Neveah Varnado; her stepdaughter Diamand Varnado; her parents, Desire DeHart, Sr. (Stephanie Voisin) and Melinda Courteaux; her brothers, Charles Courteaux, Desire DeHart, Jr. (Brandi DeRoche), Bryan DeHart, Erick DeHart and Steven Voisin; and her grandparents, Leah Courteaux and James Courteaux. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the West Park-Houma (4511 W Park Ave, Gray, LA 70359). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
