He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Francis and Brenda Joyce Dugar; his uncle Jessie Engleton, Jr.; his brother Melvin Francis, Jr.; and his grandmother Georgia Hall.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gregory Grogan (Silver) of Houston, Saul Grogan (Ebony) of Patterson, Louisiana, Lisa Hall of Morgan City, India Grogan of Houston and Margo Grogan of Morgan City, Louisiana; and his half-siblings, Stephen Francis of Patterson, Louisiana, Leslie Delco, Stephanie Francis, Andrea Harper, Carla Chaney and Karen Gash. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
