He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Coco, Sr. and Eugenie C. Coco; his parents-in-law, Harry J. Jacob and Josie M. Jacob; his sister Pauline Jeansonne; and his brother-in-law Michael Jacob.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet Jacob Coco; his children, James R. Coco, III (Terri), Ernest B. Coco (Aimee), Laura D. Coco-Montagnino (John) and Claire R. Coco; his brother John H. Coco (Lynn); his siblings-in-law, Harrel Jeansonne, Stephen Jacob (Marsha), Joseph Jacob (Connie) and Lois Jacob; his grandchildren, Victoria Coco, Suzanne Coco, Ryan Coco, Brian Montagnino, Natalie Jones, Madeline Jones, John James Coco and Avery Coco; and his great grandchildren, Kathleen Bunje and Spencer Bunje.
