He was predeceased by: his wife Julia Pastor Rachal; his grandson Jared Rachal; and his parents, Andrew Rachal and Aimee Moreau Rachal. He is survived by: his children, Suzette R. Dufour (Rodney) of Bunkie and Oscar Vincent Rachal, Jr.; his wife Debra of Baton Rouge; and also, Dale Rachal (Sandra) of Alexandria, Paul Rachal (Catherine) of New Roads, Joel Rachal (Sheila) of Luling and Rachel R. Gremillion (Stephen) of Bunkie. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
