She was predeceased by: her son Shane Sampson; her grandchildren, Ashley Sampson Franklin and Dontrell Deville Sampson, Sr.; her parents, Celina Ford Pierite and Herman Pierite Sr.; her siblings, Alfred Pierite Sr., Betty Logan, Herman Pierite Jr., Catherine Farbe and Arthur Roy Pierite; her son-in-law Dale Barbin; her parents-in-law, Laudrick Sampson and Laura Francisco Sampson; and her siblings-in-law, Emeric Sampson, Kazmar Sampson, Ellis Sampson and Crystell Lonzo.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Anthony Sampson, Sr. of Moreauville; her children, Melissa Sampson Barbin of Marksville, Larry Sampson, Jr. of Marksville, Marshall Ray Sampson, Sr. (Kayla) of Marksville, Cynthia Bridges (Lonnie, Sr.) of Cottonport, Leonard Lee Sampson, Sr. (Golda) of Marksville, Shannon Keith Sampson (Amy) of Moreauville and Denika Sampson of Moreauville; her siblings, Louise Perry of Battle Creek, Silton Pierite, Sr. of Hessmer, Beryl Pierite Holmes (Charles) of Moreauville, Rev. Terryl Pierite, Sr. (Mattie) of Moreauville, Marshall Pierite (Stephanie) of Marksville and Harold Pierite Sr. (Heather) of Mansura; her siblings-in-law, Velma Leveige, Mercell Sampson Pierite, Uradine Sampson Bonton (Clifford), Ida Mae Pierite and Kenneth Farbe Jr.; and her godchildren, Richella Malveaux and Rev. Allen Holmes. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
