She was predeceased by: her husband Eldridge Joshua Blackman; her parents, Simon Johnson, Sr. and Virgie Marie Jacobs Johnson; and her siblings, Elaine Johnson, Simon, Roman Johnson, Sterling Johnson and Vernon Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Gallow (Gilton) of Hesssmer, Colleen Logan (Will) of Bunkie, Clyde Blackman (Alice) of Pineville and Carmond Blackman (Kathy) of Prairieville; her stepdaughter Gerris Dean Blackman of Cottonport; and her grandchildren, Lonnie Rondell Bridges, Sr. (Cynthia) of Cottonport, Joey Carnell Lee (Angela) of Baton Rouge, Heather Lee Spencer of Moreauville, Carlos Blackman of Portsmouth, VA, Carlotta Blackman, Karma Lamb (Aubrey) of Scott, Christopher Blackman (Terasa) of Dacula, Justin Lee of Oklahoma and Alexus Lee of Cottonport. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
