She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edwards and Azilie Edwards; her siblings, L. D. Edwards, L. T. Edwards, L. E. Edwards, Una V. White, Ethel Edwards, Jessie Lee Eznack, Juanita Manning and Mellonee Ramsey; and her son-in-law Jack Bowden.
She is survived by: her husband Alton Martin; her daughters, Patsy Basco (Junior) of Alexandria, Sue Bowden of Denham Springs and Gay Lawing of Gardner; her sister Rose Clayton of Charleston, S. C.; and her sisters-in-law, Essie Martin of Simpson and Betty Edwards of Alexandria. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
