He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorene Stewart and Bill Stewart; his brother Larry Cross Stewart; and his sister-in-law Jessie Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Francis Porter Stewart; his children, William Edward Stewart Jr. (Pam) of Shreveport, LA and Mary Marceline "Marcy" Carté (John) of Blanchard, LA; his brother Donald Eugene Stewart of Douglasville; his sister-in-law Tina Stewart of Mooringsport, LA; his grandchildren, Robert David Brumley, Jennifer Nicole Brumley and William Kade Stewart; and his nieces and nephews, Terrisa Stewart, Jennifer Stewart, Melissa Stewart, Amanda Yorcis, Larry Stewart Jr., Kevin Stewart, Wayne Stewart, Randall Stewart, Micah Stewart and Kyle Stewart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
