He was predeceased by: his father Roy "Hoppy" Hopkins. He is survived by: his mother Rosemarie Hopkins; his wife Karen of Year's Eve; his brother Garry Hopkins; his children, Brandon Hopkins (Michelle), Meredith LeBlanc (Drew) and Rachel Garlington (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Emily, Audrey Garlington, Caiden, Caroline, Carter, Cooper LeBlanc, Ellie and Barrett Hopkins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Louisiana State Oil and Gas Museum in Oil City, Louisiana.
