He is survived by: his wife Frances Ammons Toalston; his children, Connie West (Billy), Linda Kay Toalston, Marilyn Miller and Melvin Toalston, Jr.; his grandchildren, Christine, Kelly, Aaron and Francine; his sisters, Alice Marie Baker and Mabel Hudak; and his pets, Cutie, Colby and Flash. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
