He is survived by: his wife Melinda Faye Hicks; his children, Elbert Ray Hicks, Shaquille Hicks of Karnack, Texas and Jean of Scottsville, Texas; his grandson Raymeon Hicks (Deshiya) of Longview, Texas; his great grandchild Paris Hicks of Longview, Texas; his sisters, Georgia Mae Dotie of Karnack and Katie Collins of Shreveport, Louisiana; his sisters-in-law, Doris Hicks of Dallas and Margie Hicks of Karnack, Texas; and his aunt Helen Fisher of Shreveport.
