She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph "Roy" Madere, Sr.; her parents, Louise Louque Bourgeois and Ludovic Bourgeois; and her brother Elton Bourgeois. She is survived by: her children, Joseph "Boggie" Madere, Jr., Dennis Madere, Donna M. Poche (Pat), Judy Edwards and Gary Madere; her grandchildren, Rae, Michele (Michael), Ryan (Sam), Jessica (Paul), Blaine (Becca), Rachel (Marty), Justin (Taylor), Gina, Bria and Austin (Lindsey); and her siblings, Russel Bourgeois, Rowena Stein and Noeda Matherne. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
