He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna "Maggie" Carughi Laborde and Willie Lee Watson; and his siblings, Donald "Donnie" Watson (Mary), James "Jimmy" Watson (Peggy) and Barbara "Cheryl" Bourgeois (Robbie).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Swann Watson; his children, Edwin "Zeke" Watson, Jr. (Cristy), David Watson (Kelly), Pattie Watson Rico (Mike) and Shelly Watson (Sonny); his grandchildren, Devin Populus (Brennen), Mallory Morrall (Alex), Maegan Skaggs (Brandon), Chelsea Schroeder, Dylan Rico (Kim), Cameron Watson (Allie), Brittyn Watson and Hailey Rico (Cole); his godson Brandon Mondebello; and his brothers, Kenneth "Wayne" Watson (Tish) and Bobby "Jerry" Watson (Patty). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
