She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walker and Artie Hyatt Walker; her husband Ray Wheat; her daughter Martha Wheat Specht; and her siblings, Pauline Weir, Nelvaline Addy and Illene Walker.

She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Wheat Bush (Ron); her grandchildren, Daniel Bryant, Josie Bush and Tanner Bush; and her siblings, Clarence Walker and Maxine Johnson.
