He was predeceased by: his mother Gail; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his wife Karon; his children, Kisses Thomson (Josh) and David Rogers (Chanda); his siblings, Harvey, D. D., Lawana and Tina; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Andrew, Hunter, Benjamin, Cody, Ashtyn and Joseph; and his great grandchildren, Georgia, Maleah, Sidalee and Casten. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
