He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy McLaren; his parents, Pugh McLaren and Omera McLaren; his daughter-in-law Sandra McLaren; and his brother Oliver McLaren.
He is survived by: his children, Delwyn McLaren (Rose), Mark McLaren and Beth Martin (Thomas); and his siblings, Janice O'NeaI, Howard McLaren, Wayne McLaren (Marcile), Bill McLaren (Sandra), Frank McLaren and Jack McLaren (Betsy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren.
The family has designated the Hargis Cemetery Fund, 1313 Highway 122, Montgomery, LA 71454, for memorial contributions.
