He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Chelette and Anita Rhymes Chelette; his siblings, Stanley, Malcolm Chelette, Raven Smith and Sandra Romero; and his daughter-in-law Amy Chelette.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Carter Chelette; his children, Gerald Chelette, Jr. (Morgan), Bradley Chelette (Josy), Jason Chelette (Michelle) and Darla Chelette; and his grandchildren, Alia, Kira, Hayden, Brantley, Rylen, Kannan, Aliviah, Tristen, Aspen, Mick, Xander, Sabrina, KaeLa, Traye and Matrashia. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
