She was predeceased by: her husband J. D. Waters Sr.; her parents, William Welch and Cornie Welch; her daughters, Katherine Berry and Karen Sauce; her grandchild Trey DuBois; and her siblings, Teresa Welch, Gus Welch, Stanley Welch and Odell Welch.
She is survived by: her children, J. D. Waters "Bubba" (Susie), Teresa Trichel (Andy), Emily Jo Davidson (Ronnie Gene) and Janice Dubois (Shannon); and her siblings, Lorene Desadier, Nelda Hernandez, Mary Bordelon, Robert Welch, Johnny Welch and Jerry Welch. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Corene loved going to church and missed it terribly during the pandemic.
