He is survived by: his wife Melissa Dubois Temple of Montgomery; his children, Landon Temple of Montgomery, Karson Temple of Pineville, Myles Temple of Creola, Macy Temple of Vick and Melia Temple of Vick; his father Carl, Sr. Temple; his stepmother Sally Temple of Vick; his mother Beth Smith of Dry Prong; his sisters, Gail Danzy (Adam) of Dry Prong and Michele Gauthier (Jim) of Dry Prong; and his stepbrothers, Ernest Lachney of Vick, Mickey Lachney of Fifth Ward, Chuck Smith (Elizabeth) of Pollock and William Smith of Alexandria.
