She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Leroy Simmons; her children, Cheryl Lynn Simmons and Daryl Wayne Sharbino; her granddaughter Ashley Brook Givens; and her parents, Elisha Bass and Emma Stanley.
She is survived by: her children, Lanora Ann Simmons, James Kelvin Simmons, Sheila Denise Simmons, Randall Leroy Simmons and Betty Jo Andrews. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren; her 37 great-grandchildren; and her 2 great-great grandchildren.
