He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arthur Book and Emma Fisher Book; and his siblings, Tillman Book, Artie Book Pecanty, Leroy Book, John Book, Ira Book, John "Johnny" Book, Jr., Curtis Book, Melvin "Ray" Book, Sr., Tilton "Poodle" Book and Catherine.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Reese Book of Monterey, LA; his sons, Emmitt Book (Mignon) of Monterey, LA and Stephen Book of Monterey, LA; his grandsons, Brent Book and Dalton Book; his great grandchildren, Hannah Denise Book and Emmitt Lee Book; his sister Judy Book; and his nephew Larry Resse (Cora Jean).
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Dewey Cemetery.
