He was predeceased by: his parents, Lily Mae McDaniel and Cora Dee Steed; his stepfather Tay Morace; his siblings, Mildred Mills, Loretta Morace, O'Leary and Robie Steed; his sisters-in-law, Edna and Kay Finley; and his daughter-in-law Tracye Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Finley Hill; his children, Ed Hill and Jodee Trant (Jimbo); and his grandchildren, Miley, Bryce, Jolean, Remi, Trace, MaKenna, Maddison, Eli, Stella, Finley, Catherine, Mabry, Olivia, Rosey, Sylvia, Luke and Teddy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Young's Funeral Home (609 EE Wallace Boulevard N, Ferriday, LA 71334). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Harvest Assembly of God in Monterey or any other charitable cause in the parish.
