She was predeceased by: her parents, George Allen Byrnes Sr. and Annie Rials Byrnes White; and her son Lorne Randall Merrill Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Randy Merrill of Monterey, LA; her daughters, Jeannie Archer (Jason) of Ferriday, LA and Lacy Bennett (Daniel) of Many, LA; her grandsons, Wyatt and Wrett Bennett; and her siblings, George "Spud" Byrnes Jr. of Ferriday, LA, Georgia Cavin (Butch) of Helena, AR, Judy "Noonie" Bordelon of Brookhaven, MS and Brian Byrnes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Young's Funeral Home (609 EE Wallace Boulevard N, Ferriday, LA 71334). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
