She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby D. Burnette, Sr.; her parents, Manuel Flaherty and Vera Lee Pruitt Flaherty; her children, Charles "Charlie" Burnette, Sharon Lipsey and Wanda Burnette; her grandson Joey Terral; and her siblings, W. L. Adams, Marilyn Laborde and Bessie Nell Belcher.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Dean Burnett, Jr. (Esther) of Many, LA, Darron Ray Burnette of Monterey, LA and Tina Marie New (Stanley Cooper, III) of Natchez, MS; her brother Winston Flaherty (Connie) of Shreveport, LA; her grandchildren, Michelle Terral, Kodie Brignac (Jenny), Anna Thompson (Grant), Leighton Lipsey, Leigha Taliaferro (Tal), Lauren Richard (Mike), Bailey Vanrooyen (Gerhard), Madison New, Trey Burnette and Gavin Burnette; her great grandchildren, Hampton, Wyatt, Hunter, Ethan, Haley, Noah, August, Ellie, Cloiee, Eden, Jolie and Slade; and her great great grandchildren, Miley and Westley.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Young's Funeral Home (609 EE Wallace Boulevard N, Ferriday, LA 71334). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
