He is survived by: his daughter Heather Verdin; his grandson Jaxon Verdin; his mother Walterine "Justine" Verdin; his siblings, Nancy Duplantis (Kevin), Jerome Verdin (Verna), Rodney Verdin (Mary), Robert Verdin (Ginger), Leon Verdin (Amy) and Connie Verdin (Irby); and his godchild Jesse Price. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
