He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Fuller Crain; his daughter Traci Crain Cleveland; his parents, Edward Crain and Gussie Lee Crain; his siblings, Mack Crain, Frank Crain, Janett Wingo (Freddie) and Linda Finley; his mother-in-law Claudine Prine Fuller; and his brothers, Billy Fuller and Clyde Fuller (Jeanette Fuller Hale).
He is survived by: his children, Gene Crain (Missy), Tammy Crain Waldrop, Scott Crain (Mandy) and Tana Higdon (Creg); his son-in-law David Cleveland; his grandchildren, Jessica Sanders (Brandon), Kristi Fairchild (Jerry), Jordyn Cohn, Kelsi White (Mark), Kendyl Hammons (Caleb), Courtney Crain, Baylee Waldrop, Codi Cleveland, Zach Crain, Madi Cleveland, Molly Higdon, Caroline Crain and Noah Crain; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Jonah, Hannah, Auldyn, Wyatt, Luke, Anna Rose, Ezra, Jerry and Jack; and his siblings, Bobby Joe Crain (Trish), Donald Crain (Darlene), Edna Lewis, Ruby Nell McCain, Shirley Hughlett (Gene), Diane Puttman (Donald) and Nancy Mayo (Randy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, Lakeshore Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
