He was predeceased by: his wife Leila Stevens Davenport; his parents, Leticia Morgan Davenport (Lettie) and Joseph Andrews Davenport, Jr. (Joe); his brother Joseph Andrews Davenport, III of Mer Rouge, LA; and his grandson Cal McCastlain, Jr. of Little Rock, AR..
He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Davenport McCastlain (Cal McCastlain) of Little Rock, AR and Leila Davenport Ross (Buff Ross) of Sullivans Island, SC; and his grandchildren, William Davenport McCastlain, Margeaux Stevens McCastlain, William Davenport Ross (Jack) and Barlow Mitchell Ross.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may made to St. Jude's or to St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Mer Rouge, LA, would be especially appreciated.
