He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil M. Colvin and Loree W. Colvin; and his sister Ceilia Colvin Boudreaux. He is survived by: his wife Eva B. Colvin; his daughters, Jeni Franklin (Tommy) and Emily Crooks; and his grandchildren, Abbie VanZile, Seth VanZile, Trevor Crooks, Brady Crooks, Hayden Franklin and Blake Franklin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Methodist Church-Monroe (3900 Loop Rd, Monroe, LA 71201). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the same location.
