He was predeceased by: his parents, Hallie Scott Pierron and Walter Joseph Pierron, Sr.; his former wife Jimmie Hayles Pierron of Oxford; his son Robert David Pierron; and his sister Marie Pierron Watson.
He is survived by: his son Joe; his wife Nancy Bartleson Pierron; his children, Walter Joseph Pierron, III (Laure) of Plano, TX and Melanie Pierron Patrick (William H.); his stepchildren, Shelly Mulhearn Holloway (John) and Peter G. Mulhearn, Jr. (Diane); his grandchildren, Whitney Pierron Williams (Stephen), Avery Pierron Johnson (Tim), Jackson Bryce Pierron (Jeniece Brown), Meredith Patrick Pace (Drew), Madeleine Pierron Patrick and William H. Patrick, IV (Claire); his stepgrandchildren, William C. Crow (Michelle), Joshua Peter Crow (Lauren), Sarah Mulhearn Haines (Anthony) and Kallan Grace Mulhearn; his great grandchildren, Harper, Evan Williams, Charles (Chip) and Anna Johnson; and his stepgrandchildren, Grayson Pierron, Patrick, James, Daniel Pace, Chance, Charlotte and Cale Crow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Walter can be made to The Walter J. Pierron Pharmacy Scholarship established in his honor in 2014 at the University of Mississippi.
