She was predeceased by: her husband Norman A. O'Pry, Sr.; her parents, Clarence Fontenot and Mazie Fontenot; her siblings, Dorothy Douget, Margaret Coleman and Clarence Fontenot, Jr.; and her in-laws, Andrew and Lorissia O'Pry.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Blades (Jerry, Jr), Brent O'Pry (Margaret), Kenneth O'Pry (Terry) and Norman "Chip" O'Pry, Jr. (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Elizabeth O'Pry, Emily Hatfield (Robert), Ryan O'Pry, Thomas O'Pry, Sean O'Pry (Emiley), Auggie O'Pry and Mazie O'Pry; and her great grandchildren, Elliott O'Pry, Claire Hatfield and Meredith Hatfield.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - Monroe (2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A rosary was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (3205 Concordia St, Monroe, LA 71201). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery (623 US-80, Monroe, LA 71203).
Pallbearers : Thomas O'Pry, Ryan O'Pry, Sean O'Pry, Auggie O'Pry, Thomas Tharp and Jack Gustafson, Memorials may be made in her memory to St. Vincent DePaul and St.Jude Hospital.
