He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ward of West Monroe; his children, Darlene Carter (Bill) and Brian Ward (Natalie); his grandchildren, Angela Jowers (David), Barbara Brown (Mark), Lisa Sims (Kevin), Stephanie McNair (Caleb), Baillie Johnson (Chris), Mary Bruzeau (Henry) and Rebecca Minter (Chase); his great grandchildren, Jakob, Daniel (Taylor), Sidney, Kevin, Sadie, Abby, Bella, Evan, Aiden and John Mark; his great great grandchildren, Rylan, Reece, Rhett, Revel and Eleanor; and his siblings, Stanley Ward, Lanette Courville and Mary Lynn Ward. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
