He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Whitfield Stodghill and Jewel Taylor Stodghill; and his sister Elizabeth Ellen Stodghill Tucker. He is survived by: his wife Mary Evelyn Durr; his son T. Whitfield Stodghill, III; his daughter-in-law Dawnell S. Stodghill of Monroe; his daughter Stephanie S. Carwile; his son-in-law Guy W. Carwile of Ruston; and his grandchildren, Mary Taylor Carwile, Sarah Parker Carwile, Tracy Ruth Stodghill and Thomas W. Stodghill, IV.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Thomas' on the Bayou, Episcopal Church, 3706 Bon Aire Drive, Monroe, Louisiana 71203.
