He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bashner and Edith Bashner; and his brother Philip Bashner. He is survived by: his wife Linda Bashner; his children, Harrison Bashner (Daniella) of Lithis, FL and Lindsay Bashner Benoit (Nick) of Pearland, TX; his grandchildren, Lucas, Cole Bashner, Mia, Linden and Vivian Benoit; his mother-in-law Irene Newcomer Soloman; and his siblings-in-law, Paula Burgess (Jim) and Rob Newcomer (Dianne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lea Joyner United Methodist Church or Chennault Aviation and Military Museum.
