It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Arnold Jefferson of Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Winn Jefferson and Thomas R. Jefferson; his brother Rev. Lee Jefferson; and his grandparents, Dorothy, Thomas Jefferson, Rebecca and Alfred Moak.
He is survived by: his wife Dana Tucker Jefferson; his children, Nici Hanks (Woody), Becca Mooney (Shane) and Stephen Tucker Jefferson (Samantha); his siblings, Lila Jefferson and Wynn Jefferson (Marilyn); and his grandchildren, Sarah Beth Shipp, Mary Carter Shipp, Maeve Mooney, Meryl Mooney and Rosalie Jefferson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Steve Jefferson Scholarship Fund through NAFA.
