He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney G. Martin and Annie Johnston Martin; and his sons, Robert Chad Martin and Troy Allen Martin. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Parker Martin; his children, Sidney Ryan Martin (Beth), William Clint Martin (Jessica) and Christopher Lance Martin (Kelcie); his grandchildren, Sydney Martin, Blake Martin, Kinley Martin, Emersyn Martin, Carter Martin, Hutton Martin, Gavin Martin and Gabe Green; his great grandchildren, Hudson Boyd and Bennett Boyd; his sisters, Carolyn Williams (Billy) and Marilyn Hughes (David); and his pets, Piper and Martin.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
