He was predeceased by: his wife P. K. Wells; and his parents, Elsie Wells and Harold Wells of Oakdale, LA. He is survived by: his uncle Robert; his children, Angela Rugg (Jeff) and Ryan Wells (Betsy); his grandchildren, Dr. Hannah Rugg (Luis Ampuero), Kyle, Cameron Rugg, Sarah, Katelyn and Leah Wells; his sister-in-law Judith Cross; and his aunt Mollie Willis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the North Monroe Baptist Church building fund.
