He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Adreinne McDonald; his son Michael Lee Ward; his parents, Robert Ward Sr. and Lela Barfield; and his sister Loree Ward.
He is survived by: his son John Robert Ward (Lori); his grandchildren, Micah (Ashton), Joshua (Katherine), Riley, Ashley, Brandy (Brian) and Allen (Anne); and his great grandchildren, Aubri, Alison, Jase, Harper, Hudsyn, Halli, Baker, Michael and Leah. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Lakeshore Baptist Church Building Fund, Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, St Jude's, or a charity of donor's choice.
