He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Gale "Judy" Townsend; and his parents, Sherman "Blue" Townsend, Jr. and Norma Lois Townsend (Dye). He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law James R. Morgan of Sterlington, Louisiana; his daughter Carissa; his son-in-law Derrick Collum of Monroe, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Jacob Morgan, Alyssa Freeman, Kylee Morgan, Keely Morgan, Cody Townsend and Logan Collum; and his siblings, Gerald Townsend, Courtney Townsend, Cathy Paul and Michelle Keller. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
