We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2023, at the age of 100, Ray Moore of Monroe, Louisiana, born in Rayville, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Moore and Mary Elizabeth Moore; and his siblings, Fannie Hosley, Sarah Murphy, Novie Morace, Sadie Cook, Herbie Moore, Claude Moore and Charles Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie Brownlee Moore; his children, Beverly Whetstone (Kevin), Linda Fontana (S. J.), Bob Moore and Mike Mayes; and his grandchildren, Robert Moore (Trudy), Alicia Pitts (Josh), Shawn Mayes, Chris Mayes (Sara), Lindsey Moore (Chad), Nicholas Fontana (Madison) and Lauren Fontana. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren many nieces, nephews, cousins.
